Next Tuesday, May 17th, 2011, is the date for the Discovery Educator Network (DEN)

DENny Awards ceremony. The session will start at 7pm EST/6pm CST and will be in WebEx. There is still time to nominate a DEN member or DEN STAR educator for one of the prestigious DENny Awards. You can register for the session here. We will recognize STARs in many different categories including Best LC Blog, Most Creative DEN Event, DENthusiasm, and the coveted Community Choice DENny. Don’t miss it!
The DEN is a very large community of dedicated educators so there is a great chance that a colleague that you would like to nominate is a DEN member. If you have already nominated someone, please help spread the word and encourage your colleagues to do the same or to become a STAR educator. The benefits are endless and the fun is never ending with the DEN gang.
If you recall from one of my recent blog posts, I am one of the 12 DEN Guru finalists. The final five DEN Gurus will be announced during the DENny Awards so please join me as I anxiously await to find out if I am one of the final five this year. It truly is a honor to be nominated among the other 12 amazing finalists. Any of the finalists would represent the DEN fabulously throughout the next school year!
